| Sepiolite is a magnesium-rich silicate clay mineral. The theoretical chemical formula is Mg8[Si2O30](OH)4·12H2O. Four of the water molecules are crystalline water and the rest are zeolite water. SiO2 content is 54~60%, MgO 21~25%, and often contains a small amount of iron, manganese and other elements. There are two kinds of appearance, one is soil sepiolite, the other is fibrous sepiolite. Hardness 2~2.5, density 2.2g/cm. Dryers can float in water. Color change, generally white, light gray, common and light red, light yellow, brown and so on. | |||

| River sand can be widely used in various dry mortar after drying and screening. For example, insulation mortar, bonding mortar and plastering mortar is washed, dried, graded river sand as the main aggregate. The strength is similar to that of mortar made from quartz sand. So river sand in general in construction, decoration has an irreplaceable role! River sand is an insoluble mineral that contains few nutrients necessary for plant growth. Often, river sand is used not for its nutrients but, like vermiculite, as support for roots in soilless cultivation. In soilless culture, nutrient solution should be applied to supplement the nutrients needed for plant growth. For malt cultivation, sterilized river sand can be used for culture, and river sand can also be used as a mixed substrate for growing succulents | |||
